My wife is in confinement, if not i'll eat much less rice than i do now. Maybe half a bowl of rice per day. Trying to find a suitable period to do a 1-3 day fasting also, just drinking water.

I like the Naval Ravikant section a lot :)

la papillionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01372278083694506953noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37872616.post-45945684965850622017-03-01T00:42:41.644+08:002017-03-01T00:42:41.644+08:00good selections! this definitely on my re-reading ...good selections! this definitely on my re-reading list! ebook just expired and am borrowing again :)

6. I'm a massive Tim Ferriss fan, I listen to his podcasts almost every day on the way to work. This is an impressive comprehensive list of quotes and ideas, this just makes me that much more excited to read it myself! I think this is very similar to the one where you put potato, egg and coffee in hot water :)

2) I randomly chose La papillion after watching a really artsy film by the same name. But on hindsight, I realised it's really a fitting nickname for myself. Every time I changed a new environment (like pri to sec sch, schooling to army, schooling to work etc), I'll take stock of what I had done and changed the parts that I don't like. It's almost like a perpetual caterpillar becoming a butterfly becoming a caterpillar again and again. I couldn't have picked a better name for myself.

In essence, la papillion is about metamorphosis - changing myself and also freeing myself every now and then.

PS: I'll continue writing super long articles these days. It's almost like challenging myself - the busier I am, the longer I should write ;)la papillionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01372278083694506953noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37872616.post-51649544531659311072017-02-18T09:17:15.639+08:002017-02-18T09:17:15.639+08:00LP,

(So cool!)

2) You must want to be a butterfly so much that you are willing to give up being a caterpillar.

You are a butterfly by choice and definitely have given up being a caterpillar.

I've observed some are "butterflies" more by their circumstances, and I won't be surprised if one day they will return to being a caterpillar.

Its an easy tell when they try too hard...

Singapore Man of Leisurehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13774067113884418001noreply@blogger.com
